The Quilting Gallery's weekly brag this week is in commeration with Rememberence Day which is a day Canada acknowledges, however, it is not a Statutory Holiday for all of us. This is something I had in my collection of small quilts. While in the making it was a project that was going all wrong. The flowers were flat and lifeless. My dear partner looked at it and said we need to add some pointillism to the blossoms and give it a story. Hence the outcome. This has yet to sell, however, there is a gallery at the Perley Rideau Vetran's Home and it just may end up being donated to them. If you have the time, please go on line to the Gallery Quilting and Vote!

I saw this on the Quilting Gallery. It is absolutely beautiful!
What a gorgeous art quilt. The colors are so rich and deep. Beautiful.
We're Canadians who immigrated to the US and I miss Remembrance Day and the poppies. Canada does such a beautiful job remembering those who were lost at war.
Thanks for popping by my blog.
Warmly,
Nicole
